Terms and Conditions
1. General
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the use of Kids in the Room (“we,” “us,” or “our”) services, including but not limited to participation in our escape room experiences.
1.2 By making a booking or participating in any Kids In The Room activity, you (“you,” “participant,” or “guest”) agree to be bound by these T&Cs.
2. Age Restrictions and Supervision
2.1 Our escape rooms are designed for children from 5 to 16 years old.
2.2 For children 9 and below, parental or guardian supervision is required. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children at all times during the experience.
2.3 All participants must be in suitable physical and mental condition to play our escape room games. You must inform us of any underlying health conditions that may affect any participants’ ability to participate safely.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Bookings can be made online through our website, walk-ins, or by other means as specified.
3.2 All bookings require a minimum of one child participant, with an additional adult if child is under the age of 10.
3.3 For unaccompanied children aged 10 and above, a designated adult contact is required to provide consent, sign waivers of indemnity, and serve as an emergency contact.
3.4 All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
3.5 Changes to booking times may be possible with sufficient notice. Please contact us directly for assistance at least 24 hours in advance.
3.6 If a participant fails to arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled booking time, the booking may be forfeited without refund.
4. Safety and Liability
4.1 We strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
4.2 While we will take all reasonable precautions, accidents can still occur. You acknowledge and agree that you participate in our activities at your own risk.
4.3 We are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or losses incurred by participants during their visit, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.
4.4 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kids In The Room from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your visits or the conduct of parties or excursions, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, and property damage.
4.5 Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and items brought to the premises.
5. Conduct
5.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, other participants, and our property.
5.2 Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the premises without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All intellectual property rights related to our escape rooms, including but not limited to puzzles, designs, and gameplay, are the exclusive intellectual properties of Kids In The Room, a trademark owned by Unreal Escape (Pte. Ltd.).
6.2 Unauthorized photography and/or videography within the escape rooms during game play is strictly prohibited.
6.3 The Website and the Contents are for personal information only. No material from the Website (including photographs, images and text) may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way except for your own personal non-commercial use only provided that you keep intact all copyright and proprietary notices. Modification of the materials or use of the materials or any other purpose is a violation of Kids In The Room’s copyright and other proprietary rights. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
7. Changes to T&Cs
7.1 We reserve the right to modify or update these T&Cs at any time without prior notice.
7.2 The updated T&Cs will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
8. Governing Law
8.1 These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
